MEET THE FOUNDER:
I am the mind behind the Babysitter Bunch. I am a divorced single mother of four beautiful daughters
Kiah (28 years), Aaliyah (25 years), Franky (22 years), and Damonjaznae (16 years), and I am a
grandmother of three amazing grandchildren. My previous career was with the Texas Department of
Child and Family Protective Services as a Conservatorship Worker and a Family-Based Safety Services
Worker, where I worked to assist parents with resources to help to make changes so they could reunify
with their children after being placed in foster care. Darlisa Navarro has over twenty years of experience
working with children and families. She has worked at several childcare centers, owned and operated
in-home childcare, Arapahoe County Department of Child and Family Services, and has even driven a
bus for the Regional Transportation District in Colorado.
I am Executive Director of Tomorrow’s Achievers, which is a Nonprofit organization geared to assist
children and family’s needs in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Volunteering is a must for me and my family;
We are always spending time in the community helping families. I enjoy being outdoors and
adventurous activities, such as skydiving, race car driving, and four-wheel driving. I love Taco Tuesdays
and spending time with friends and family. I love traveling around the country while enjoying quiet time
by myself.
I enjoy having conversations with anyone and making the connection to create new partnerships within
the community.
